Dr. Nicholas graduated from the University of Sydney and has been working in Singapore as a Veterinary Surgeon since. His areas of interest in veterinary medicine include soft tissue surgery, TCM and internal medicine but has a special interest in geriatric medicine and other integrated therapies to care for older pets. Together with his team of doctors, Dr. Teo believes in working together to provide the very best veterinary care for the animals and also forming lasting relationships with his clients. Outside the clinic, Dr. Teo spends his time exploring the many varieties of sake and its pairing with local food.

Dr. Melissa Tjahaja
BSc/BVMs (Murdoch)

Dr. Melissa graduated from Murdoch University in 2014. She is passionate and loves working with animals of all sizes. After several placements in wildlife facilities overseas, she is now based in Singapore. She enjoys building a rapport with clients and their furry family member. Dr. Melissa also has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery and hopes to continue pursuing further education in this area.

Dr. Natasha Snowden

Dr Natasha Snowden graduated from Murdoch University in 2010.
She has a special interest in small animal internal medicine and has obtained her membership in Small Animal Medicine with the Australia and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) in 2018. Aside from this, she is also keen in diagnostic imaging which she hopes to pursue further education in.

Dr. Joanna Goh
BVSc (Melbourne)

Dr Joanna graduated from the University of Melbourne and has been working in Singapore since. Since young she has been volunteering at clinics, farms and the zoo. She loves seeing cats and dogs, and her main interests are medicine and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and finding the best bread.

Dr Anise
Veterinary Surgeon, BSc (Melbourne), DVM (Melbourne)

Dr Anise graduated from the University of Melbourne and has been working in Singapore since. She enjoys treating dogs and cats, and her interest lies in medicine. During her free time, she loves spending time with her rescue dog.

Dr. Zac, Zu’An Chong
BVMS (Glasgow)

Dr Zac joins us with years of experience in small animal primary care, as well as emergency & critical care. He is currently working towards a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, to deepen his knowledge and skills in the areas of surgery, medicine, emergency & critical care, and ophthalmology. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, particularly for winter and water sports.

Dr. Ho Pui Yan
DVM (Murdorch)

Dr Yan is a veterinarian who loves caring for animals and supporting the people who look after them. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary work, from keeping pets healthy to helping families through tougher moments.

Dr. Eleanor Ho
BVSc (Sydney)

Dr Eleanor graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia in 2013 and has been practicing veterinary medicine in Singapore since. Her areas of interests are small animal internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and emergency medicine. With a strong commitment to animal welfare and community service, Dr. Eleanor volunteers her time with animal welfare organizations to improving the health and adoptability of rescued animals. To her, every patient and client is different and no one case should be treated typically.

Dr. Charlotte Teo
BVMBVS (Nottingham)

Dr. Charlotte graduated from the University of Nottingham and has worked in 2 other busy small animal practices before joining the Apex team in 2026. She believes that such experiences have shaped her to thrive in dynamic environments and high-pressure situations. She is particularly interested in internal medicine and soft tissue surgeries and is continuing to build her expertise in these areas. When she is not in scrubs, she enjoys travelling and likes to stay active with regular hiit workouts.

Dr Cora Cheung
BVetMed(Hons) (London) GPcert(DI) MRCVS.

Dr Cora Cheung graduated with honours from the Royal Veterinary College in London and spent seven years working in the UK in a busy 24-hour small animal hospital. During this time, she gained broad experience in both routine and complex cases, and developed a calm, thoughtful approach to clinical work. Working in a fast-paced hospital environment also shaped her strong focus on teamwork and clear communication, which she believes are key to providing the best care for patients and their families.

She enjoys getting to know both pets and their owners, and takes the time to explain treatment options in a clear and reassuring way. Dr Cora has particular interests in minimally invasive and soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology, and enjoys continuously learning and developing her skills. She finds it especially rewarding to work through cases collaboratively and tailor care to each individual pet.

Outside of the clinic, she loves spending time outdoors, dog training, and going on hiking adventures with her two dogs — a Border Terrier and a Papillon. She also enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes (mostly successfully).

Sarah Ng
Veterinary Technician | BSc (LaTrobe)

Sarah graduated from LaTrobe University with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences, and she has been in the medical industry for nearly 10 years. The last few years in the veterinary environment has allowed her to obtain valuable knowledge in regards to animal care, making her passionate in helping owners better understand their furry companions. In her free time, she enjoys shopping for her 2 furry felines at home, and enjoys a good game of mahjong.

Jasmine Leong
Veterinary Technician

Jasmine graduated Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology in 2015. She loves interacting and helping all furry friends and their owners, wishing to make their visit an enjoyable one. In her downtime, she appreciates having a good book and cup of coffee in hand.

Bayani
Veterinary Technician

Bayani completed his DVM degree back in the Philippines in 2009 and passed the licensure exam on the same year. He has moved to Singapore in 2012 and has then since worked in various small animal industries. He joined Apex Team during the pandemic in August 2020.

He is an environmentalist by heart and a regular gymrat. He is also a competetive mountain biker, having earned four podium finishes since 2019. He is currently riding a Cube Stereo 150 Race 29er.

Piyathip
Veterinary Technician

Piyathip has always wanted to work with animals. In 2016, she decided to work as a vet nurse and has never looked back since. She strives to provide the patients with the best of care and gives extra TLC to cute and cuddly animals. During her off days, she is creating art, drawing inspiration from nature and her surroundings.

Zuzu
Veterinary Technician

Zuzu graduated with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology from Temasek Polytechnic, followed by a degree in psychology from the University of Wollongong. She has developed a passion for animal care and welfare after working in the various small animal clinics throughout Singapore since 2014. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her cat Krazy, who is thrilled to be photographed here.

Veterinary Technician

Magdalene has been working as a veterinary receptionist since 2016 and adores all kinds of animals. During her free time, she spends time watching Netflix and playing with her dog.

Veterinary Technician

Alayne has a Bachelor of Nursing (Human) and Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (Animals). Animals usually tend to be more pleasant patients.😂

Veterinary Technician

Fionna was introduced to animals at a young age, which sparked her interest in them. Helping animals is a truly rewarding experience that she deeply enjoys. In her spare time, she enjoys singing and spending quality time with her dog.

Scarlett
Veterinary Technician

Scarlett graduated as a registered nurse in 2024 and has a passion for helping humans and animals alike. She enjoys channeling her energy into fitness and enjoys spending time at the gym. Outside of workouts, she loves experimenting in the kitchen and cooking for her loved ones. Her background in healthcare also influences her holistic approach to wellness.

Veterinary Technician

Tori enjoys working with animals. She spends most of her free time wit her grumpy cat, Jake, and her bubbly dog, Jujube.

Damon
Veterinary Technician

Damon graduated with a Diploma in Aeronautical and Aerospace Technology, but his passion for animals led him towards a career in veterinary nursing. He has been working as a veterinary nurse since 2018, and has developed a plethora of skills such as kitty cuddling and dog belly rubbing. During his off days, he enjoys gaming or hitting the gym.

Zhiying
Veterinary Technician

With over a decade in the veterinary industry, including a few years in emergency and critical care in her back pocket, Zhi Ying has seen a lot—and very little fazes her anymore. Now in general practice, she focuses on providing high-quality patient care while keeping her patients as comfortable as possible… even for the very unwilling ones.

Yee Zhen
Veterinary Technician

Yee Zhen is a compassionate animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, hamsters, rabbits, fish, and terrapins. She is skilled in basic animal handling, feeding, and maintaining clean, safe environments. Dedicated to animal wellbeing, with a patient and attentive approach. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures.

Ariel
Veterinary Technician

Ariel graduated from Virgin Milagrosa University Foundation of the Philippines in 2017 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. During his academic tenure, he distinguished himself by securing the Best Thesis Award as the top performer in his cohort. Following this achievement, he developed a strong interest in the specialist field of orthopaedic surgery.

From an early age, Ariel regularly assisted with his family’s backyard swine farm in Pangasinan. He accumulated 2 years of practical experience in small animal veterinary practice before expanding his professional horizons overseas, relocating to Singapore in 2019.

In his spare time, Ariel enjoys cooking and spending quality time with his beloved cat, Mian Mian.

Dr. Philippa Spellman
BVSc Massey University

Dr Philippa is a Kiwi and a graduate of Massey University in New Zealand . She has worked in 7 countries with the latest stop being here in Singapore. She enjoys both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and also geriatric medicine. She also takes care of the Singapore Stray animal community. In her spare time she loves to explore new countries at any opportunity and never misses an All Black game.

To minimise the stress on our patients, we are equipped with separate dog and cat wards. A dedicated isolation ward is also available if required. Overnight care and monitoring will be arranged if required.
